Okay, I figured it was time for a proper introduction 👋
I’m Ali, and the man you’ll see popping up here is my partner Gab. I’ve travelled to about 38 countries, he’s been to over 50, and travel has always been a huge part of our lives.
Then, somewhere in my late 30s, I became REALLY curious about sexuality. Mine, ours, and how differently the rest of the world approaches it. I started studying sexual health and education with the @sexualhealthalliance , went on a few study trips abroad, and suddenly the way I travelled completely changed.
I still want the good food and pretty views. But I also want to know about the strange museums, spicy bookstores, local attitudes, nightlife, spicy culture and history, workshops, retreats and all the interesting things regular travel guides barely mention.
Spicy Planet is basically the travel page I wanted to find but couldn’t.
And no, spicy travel doesn’t have to mean jumping straight onto a swingers cruise or the x-tourism stuff you read about. We want to redefine pleasure travel. It can be a museum, a historical tour, a workshop, or simply learning something new about a place and yourself.
